As the sun sets on the 2023 netball season, the Prime Panthers netball team find themselves in an impressive second place in League 1 at the Montague Action Arena, having played seven games, securing victories in four, enduring two losses, and battling to a draw in one. This mid-season standing reflects the team's commitment to excellence and the thrill they've brought to the court week after week.

The Prime Panthers aren't just a team; they're a force to be reckoned with on a provincial level. A remarkable achievement for the season is the selection of several players as provincial representatives. Renske, Jill, Cat, Tiana, Robyn, Andrea, and Kelly have not only donned the Prime Panthers colours but have also proudly represented the Western Cape Coastal region in the Mixed Opens, Mixed Over 30, and Ladies Over 30 categories at the 2023/2024 Inter Provincial Tournaments. Their participation in a number of teams underscores the exceptional talent within the Prime Panthers roster.

This team has been through a rollercoaster of emotions over the years, but through it all, the Prime Panthers have exhibited unwavering resilience. From overcoming challenging losses to celebrating hard-fought victories, the team has stood together through thick and thin. Injuries and setbacks didn't deter them; instead, they fuelled the determination to come back stronger each time. The addition of new "baby Panthers" to the family brought joy and a sense of continuity to the team, reinforcing the familial bonds that extend beyond the court.

A team is not just defined by its on-court performance but also by the community and support system surrounding it. Since 2018, Prime has been an integral part of the team, sponsoring indoor seasons, competitions and, of course, the Cape Town 10s team entry.
