Prime Cleaning Suppliers in conjunction with CBC St Johns hosted our annual Fun Run on Nitida Wine Farm, with Operation Smile as a beneficiary of the event for our 4th consecutive year this weekend.
The aim of this event is to encourage children of all ages to participate in sporting events but to also bring their parents and friends along to encourage community and family participation as well as to support charity, this one being Operation Smile to gift a child with a cleft palate a smile after corrective surgery. There is a 5km, 2.5km and 1 km trail run that meanders through the farm and post run everyone gets to enjoy breakfast buns served by Tables at Nitida on the grass under gazebos or in the warmth of the sun.
The event hosts up to 350 people currently as the farm is limited to numbers but the aim is to grow it into an inter schools event along the West Coast and increase our charitable portion from more participation.
Nitida wine farm and Tables at Nitida are extremely supportive of this event allowing us access to the farm and restaurant and our additional sponsors namely, Veldskoen, Mambos, The Crazy Store, Bostik and Tailwind Nutrition add incredible value to the success of this event.
